What documentation do I need to get a library card?

A person applying for a library card must show a State of West Virginia issued photo identification or Government issued active Military ID. If the address on your photo ID is not current or not included, we require address verification from one of the following with the current address printed on it: utility bill, valid vehicle registration, pay stub, Medicaid card, bank statement, court issued documents, school transcript, mortgage paperwork, lease, rent receipt, or property deed.
